Questions parents ask
About the clubs
Who can join a club?
Each club is for pupils at the school where it is held. The year groups for each club are shown on the clubs page.
My child's school does not have a club. Can you start one?
Possibly. Register your interest and tell us the school. When enough families from one school ask, Rachel approaches the school about hosting a club.
Is the club run by the school?
No. Rachel's Crafting Club is run independently by Rachel. The school kindly lets us use a room. Please contact us rather than the school office with any questions about the club.
How many children are in each club?
Never more than ten, so everyone gets proper help when they are stuck.
How does my child get from class to the club?
Rachel meets the children at an agreed point at the end of the school day. The exact arrangement is agreed with each school and confirmed when you book.
When do I collect?
Collection times are shown for each club on the clubs page. Please collect on time, as the room is only hired until the end of the session.
Booking and payment
How much does it cost?
Prices are shown for each club on the clubs page. Places are booked and paid for by the half term.
How do I book?
Use the booking button on your school's club. If a club is full or not yet open, register your interest and we will contact you when a place comes up.
What if we miss a week?
Add your policy on missed sessions.
Can I get a refund?
Add refund and notice terms.
On the day
Do I need to buy any supplies?
No. Everything is included, aprons too.
What should my child wear?
School uniform is fine as we provide aprons, but sessions can get messy and paint does not always come out.
What about allergies or additional needs?
Add how you handle allergies and whether you can support children with additional needs.
What happens if a session is cancelled?
You will be told as soon as possible and the session will be rescheduled or refunded.
