After-school craft clubs
Find the club at your child's school below. Each one runs once a week during term time and is open to pupils at that school.

Your child's school not listed? Tell us which school. When enough families ask, Rachel approaches the school about starting a club there.
Inside a session
The same four steps, every week
Children settle quickly because they always know what comes next.
Think and brainstorm
We look at the project together and talk through how to approach it.
Craft
The bulk of the session. Cutting, sticking, painting, building and fixing the bits that go wrong.
Play
Children test what they have made. Rockets get launched and cars get raced.
Wind down
We clear up together and talk about what worked and what they would change.
What they take away
More than something for the fridge door
Projects are chosen so children have to think rather than just follow. That means measuring, testing an idea that fails, adjusting it and trying again. That is where most of the learning happens.
